Fork in the Road is the debut studio album by The Infamous Stringdusters, released on February 13, 2007 via Sugar Hill Records. Across 12 tracks, it introduced the band’s early progressive-acoustic approach to bluegrass, pairing traditional instrumentation with contemporary songwriting and arrangements that quickly set them apart within the scene. 1

The album’s impact was immediate: it was recognized at the 2007 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards, winning Album of the Year (tie), while its title track “Fork In The Road” won Song of the Year (written by Chris Jones and John Pennell).
