Jarrod Walker

Jarrod Walker is a mandolinist and songwriter known for his work in modern bluegrass and acoustic music, including his role as the mandolin player in Billy Strings’ touring band. Rooted in traditional bluegrass, he has also performed with Missy Raines and the New Hip and has been recognized for his musicianship and writing in the wider bluegrass community. 13

After first recording with Billy Strings in 2017, Walker became a permanent member of the band’s core lineup, adding a sharp rhythmic chop, melodic lead work, and harmony vocals to the group’s sound. 2
